Jedn\u00edm z nejv\u011bt\u0161\u00edch rizik je usazov\u00e1n\u00ed tuku ve st\u011bn\u00e1ch c\u00e9v, kter\u00e9 vede k ateroskler\u00f3ze.<\/p>\n<p>C\u00e9vy si m\u016f\u017eete p\u0159edstavit jako trubky, kter\u00fdmi prot\u00e9k\u00e1 krev. Pokud se v c\u00e9v\u00e1ch za\u010dne hromadit tuk, podobn\u011b jako se v potrub\u00ed hromad\u00ed ne\u010distoty, postupn\u011b se c\u00e9vy ucp\u00e1vaj\u00ed. Tyto tuky tvo\u0159\u00ed tzv. aterosklerotick\u00e9 pl\u00e1ty, kter\u00e9 mohou c\u00e9vy \u201eucpat\u201c. Kdy\u017e c\u00e9vou neproud\u00ed okysli\u010den\u00e1 krev, org\u00e1ny, kter\u00e9 jsou touto c\u00e9vou vy\u017eivov\u00e1ny, nemohou spr\u00e1vn\u011b fungovat. Pokud jde o c\u00e9vu vedouc\u00ed do srdce, m\u016f\u017ee doj\u00edt k infarktu. Pokud c\u00e9va vede do mozku, hroz\u00ed c\u00e9vn\u00ed mozkov\u00e1 p\u0159\u00edhoda, zn\u00e1m\u00e1 jako mrtvice.<\/p>\n<p>Tuky jsou jednou ze z\u00e1kladn\u00edch \u017eivin, kter\u00e9 p\u0159ij\u00edm\u00e1te z potravy. Na\u0161t\u011bst\u00ed existuje i \u201ehodn\u00fd\u201c cholesterol (HDL, lipoprotein s vysokou hustotou), kter\u00fd vyva\u017euje \u00fa\u010dinek \u201ezl\u00e9ho\u201c cholesterolu a chr\u00e1n\u00ed va\u0161e c\u00e9vy.<\/p>\n<p>Jak si tedy vyb\u00edrat potraviny s men\u0161\u00edm obsahem \u201ezl\u00e9ho\u201c cholesterolu? Zam\u011b\u0159te se na potraviny rostlinn\u00e9ho p\u016fvodu, jako jsou sem\u00ednka, o\u0159echy, \u0159epkov\u00fd a olivov\u00fd olej nebo avok\u00e1do. Tyto potraviny obsahuj\u00ed zdrav\u00e9 tuky a neobsahuj\u00ed cholesterol. P\u0159esto nen\u00ed dobr\u00e9 cholesterol \u00fapln\u011b vynechat \u2013 va\u0161e t\u011blo ho pot\u0159ebuje k tvorb\u011b hormon\u016f a k v\u00fdstavb\u011b bun\u011b\u010dn\u00fdch membr\u00e1n.
